Established in 1979, the Acorn Street Shop started as a New England country store. It wasn't long before the needlework department took over. Today, the shop offers something for knitting, crocheting, and needlepointing. The instructors offer fun classes for all abilities. Knitting sessions include Beginning Knitting 101, Beginning Stranded Color Work, and Introduction to Sock Knitting Using Magic Loop. Students enjoy ten percent off class supplies. Advanced registration is required for all sessions.
