It's owned by the husband and wife of Chris and Tiffany Aprecio and combined, they have taught thousands of residents throughout Washington. Chris began training at the age of five. By the time he was fifteen, he knew that his mission was to inspire others from his teaching. The adult program focuses on both fitness martial arts techniques. Students move through the ranks at their own pace, and each level brings its own set of challenges. 

Gracie Barra

The instructors at Gracia Barra believe that jiu-jitsu is for everyone. They have thirty years of teaching experience and offer a fun, demanding setting that stimulates students to achieve their goals. The studio is a powerhouse in the jiu-jitsu world and welcomes everyone from beginners to experienced athletes who compete on the national level. Beginners start with GB1, which focuses on the basic fundamentals as well as the skills necessary to grow personally in jiu-jitsu.

Oom Yung Doe 

Translating to mind, body, way, Oom Yung Doe is a traditional martial arts school led by Sherry Picatti. She began martial arts as a way of cross-training, and now holds a fourth-degree black belt. Students respond to her motivational, laid-back teaching style, and she enjoys offering the opportunity to explore. The studio offers eight different forms, including kung fu, aikido, and kom do.
