Delivered by author and motivational speaker Dan Pink, The Puzzle of Motivation is a TED Talk that was given in 2009. Inspired by his book Drive, this talk is centered around the divide between science and business. Pink uses examples taken from psychology to present the idea that many businesses today are misguided in getting employees motivated. The author then delivers new and innovative ways to approach motivation in businesses today.

Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are

Viewed almost 60 million times, Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are is presented by Amy Cuddy. Cuddy, who is a social scientist, discusses how body language plays a role in everyone's lives. In this talk, she details the idea that it not only affects how others view you, but how it also relates to how people see themselves. Concepts such as "power posing" are highlighted as ways that may improve success in everyday life.

My Stroke of Insight

Originally given at a 2008 TED Conference, My Stroke of Insight is arguably one of the most powerful TED Talks to date. Given by Jill Bolte Taylor, a brain scientist, this incredible story is deeply personal and moving. Using the example of her own debilitating stroke at the age of 37, Taylor gives an intimate and revealing look at her long recovery process and how it relates to brain recovery today.
