At Drawn2Art, the teachers offer simple step-by-step instruction to make learning enjoyable for everyone. The classes, when combined with practice, bring about an independent and comfortable artist. The sessions are offered year-round for steady advancement, and students work at their own pace. 

First-time artists begin with two-dimensional drawings before learning to add tone and color values. An emphasis is placed on neatness, and the better you draw, the better you'll paint. Participants start with pastels and can progress to watercolor, acrylic, and oil. 

Redmond Art Works 

Redmond Art Works is where students can get messy in a fun, stress-free setting. The center specializes in offering innovative art education through workshops and weekly classes for the eastside community. The talented team features artists who are passionate about helping students enhance their skills. They boast years of experience and teach an array of mediums. 

One of the weekly offerings includes Adult Ceramics. It covers both slab and throwing techniques, allowing students to create functional forms. The class fee covers the necessary tools and eleven pounds of clay each month. 

The Studio

For one-on-one attention, enjoy classes at The Studio. The instructors teach various techniques used by classically trained artists. Students learn the basics of drawing and create masterpieces using charcoal, pastels, watercolors, and oils. The lessons are based on one's skills and goals, and subjects include animals and landscapes. 

The Studio offers a quiet learning environment. Classes meet on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings, and they last between ninety minutes and three hours. First-time students can enjoy a free trial class to ensure the program is a good fit.
