Brick & Mortar Books 

After a major bookseller left Redmond, Dan and Tina Ullom missed having a bookstore in our community. They researched the bookselling business, and soon, Brick & Mortar Books was born. The shop is a place you can wander while finding old favorites and new releases. The selection includes both local and national bestselling authors, and the friendly staff enjoys making recommendations. 

Horizon Books

Horizon is Seattle's longest-running independent used bookstore. It opened in 1971, and invites readers to venture down the ramp to discover exciting treasures. The dedicated staff is always adding new inventory, and genres include fantasy, humor, and fiction. Horizon is only open on Saturdays and Sundays between 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. 

Queen Anne Book Company

When Janis Segress was a little girl, she dreamed of opening her own bookstore. In 2013, she achieved her goal when she opened the Queen Anne Book Company with two of her friends. They're all long-time residents of the Queen Anne neighborhood and are proud to offer their store as a place in the community. The booksellers love to read and enjoy helping their customers discover new authors.

The Queen Anne Book Company also hosts a book group called QABC Reads. It is open to the public, and is held on the first Tuesday of every month from 7:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m.
