Just 15 minutes from our charming community sits Bellevue Botanical Garden. It has numerous trails for you to roam while you take in the lush greenery and colorful floral arrangements. Be sure to check out one of their many special events in September, including Master Gardener Clinic every Saturday.

Seattle Japanese Garden

This "urban sanctuary" should be on everyone's bucket list. Japanese gardens have distinct styles that reflect a tranquil look into Japanese aesthetics and culture. A seasonal event, the Seattle Japanese Garden hosts a Moon Viewing party each year where the full moon is celebrated under a starlit night, complete with magical decorations.

Lake Hills Greenbelt

While this isn't a traditional botanical garden, Lake Hills Greenbelt is a place of conservation, wildlife, and exploration, among other nature-friendly activities. The Mercer Slough and Larsen Lake Blueberry Farms offer a variety of fresh seasonal produce, the ranger station is a great educational resource, and, of course, the entire landscape is the perfect place to witness wildlife in its element and walk scenic trails.
