Find Vintage Vinyl at a Redmond Record Store

Find Vintage Vinyl at a Redmond Record Store

Did you know that vinyl records have delighted listeners and collectors since the early 1900s?

Sales slowed after the release of CDs, but today, vinyl is making a comeback.

If you would like to shop for records, visit one of these locally owned stores near our Redmond apartments where you'll find everything from classic favorites to new releases:

Jive Time Records

Proudly selling vinyl for over 18 years, Jive Time Records strives to make shopping for music as much fun as listening to it. The store is Seattle's best, and Rolling Stone magazine calls it one of the "top 25 record stores in the United States." The selection is ever-changing, making each visit a treasure hunt. New items are added daily, and bargain hunters don't want to miss the budget bins.

Do you have unwanted records, tapes, or CDs? If so, the shop offers the best prices in town. Buyers are on hand daily, and they're especially interested in hard-to-find titles.

Easy Street Records

A Seattle favorite since 1988, Easy Street Records offers a cozy cafe and music store under one roof. Founder Matt Vaughn worked at two music stores while in high school. When both shops were simultaneously going out of business, he bought them and created a fun, lively destination. After shopping, guests can relax in the cafe where they can grab a delicious meal and play full tracks at the listening stations.

Easy Street also hosts performances by nationally touring artists. The concerts draw large crowds, and past musicians include Dierks Bentley, Band of Horses, and Kings of Leon.

Georgetown Records

Called Seattle's music mecca, Georgetown Records is at the center of the Northwest's music and comic scene. Owner Martin Imbach wants shoppers to be surprised by the inventory. He carries nearly all genres and offers an extensive collection of international music. Visitors may see members from the city's most famous bands looking through the new arrivals bins.

You can sell your unwanted records on Saturdays between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The buyers welcome LPs, 45s, and 12-inch singles, and pay based on need and condition.

These are just a few of the locally owned shops near our apartments in Redmond, WA. If you're looking for a place to call home, please contact our leasing staff. They'd love for you to see firsthand all we have to offer.
