There are many walking trails located just a short distance from our apartments in Redmond that you can look forward to exploring! Here's a closer look at some of our favorite places to walk:

Redmond Watershed Preserve

This preserve has many easy to navigate and well-maintained trails situated among beautiful ponds and towering trees. It is an immersive oasis perfect for walking, jogging, biking, and horseback riding. Connect the trails into a long loop around the property or go on shorter adventures by walking along any of the individual legs. Leave your furry friends at home for this one as it is not pet friendly! Parking and restrooms are available.

Sammamish River Trail

Running from Marymoor Park in Redmond along the Sammamish River to Blythe Park in Bothell, this 10.9 mile trail is perfect for a nice long walk. It is fully paved and perfect for bringing along your dogs. Enjoy the wildlife out on the river as well as in the trees. Bonus: Once you reach Bothell you can connect this trail to the Burke-Gilman Trail and take it all the way into Seattle.

Idylwood Park

Idylwood Park is the perfect place to walk the nature trails and has a nearby beach. This is a great place to visit for fresh air and beautiful views. Pack a lunch and and take in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Redmond West Wetlands

This is a small, well-maintained trail perfect for a brief stop when you need your nature fix. This is a great option for a walk if you have extra time on your lunch break or want to get in a short walk on a weekday evening. This trail is great for all ages, but dogs are not allowed.
