Located near the center of the city, this paved path is a 3.2 mile loop that's suitable for all skill levels. The path is wide and mostly flat. There's plenty of room to maintain distance from other hikers and you'll enjoy views of the city as well as gorgeous trees, flowers and a glimpse of the river along the way. Another gem less than 10 minutes from our apartments near Redmond is Bridle Crest Trail. It's a favorite for local equestrians and often called "the wilderness in the city." Here, you'll stroll through the forest and past rolling hills. If you're fond of horses, stop by for one of the many equestrian events hosted here throughout the year. This unpaved, wooded trail is about 3 miles out and back and is mostly used by bikers, horses and hikers. You can also bring your furry friend on a leash.
The trails at Evans Creek feature dense woods and gorgeous open spaces. The preserve boasts several loop trails that are suitable for all levels. You'll wind through marshes, woods, meadows and even spot some unique birds, if you watch carefully. The trails are pedestrian-only due to the diverse wildlife that call this place home.
