This 531-acre day-use park is home to 6,858 feet of waterfront on Lake Sammamish. The lake features two beaches and a beautiful trail that winds through the trees. Idylwood Beach Park is open for swimming with strict safety guidelines in place. You can also rent or bring your own kayak, canoe, or paddle board in the lake. Alternatively, you can hike or bike along the three miles of trails. There are also volleyball courts and geocaching options in this lovely setting.
This lake, located between Seattle and Bellevue, is the second largest lake in Washington State. Lake Washington is a premier site for all kinds of recreational activities, located within a 30-minute drive from the Parkside apartments. Seward Park on the south side of the lake offers beautiful water views along miles of biking and walking trails. It also features a swimming area and has multiple launch sites for kayaks. The University of Washington offers boat, kayak, and rowboat rentals right on the lake. Check out their boat rental schedule here. Rentals must be booked online as they are not allowing walk-in rentals at this time.
